Four years ago, God was gracious to let us bring a little princess into our home full of boybarians. Dirk and I have been forever grateful for the sweetness and wonder she brings to all of our lives. After so many boys (and a daughter in heaven) our Christian doctor knew that Abigail's name must have special significance...he asked Dirk while I was in labour why "Abigail Hope?" Dirk said emphatically: "Because we HOPE its Abigail! She was and we are so glad!
Abby wants to be a "Princess Mommy" when she grows up. I told her that she could be like me b/ I was sure that I was a Princess Mommy. She looked at me apologetically and said, "No, you're just a Plain Mommy!" Happy Birthday, Abigail Hope!
**props to anyone (except Tami!) that can tell me from whence the title comes**

Oh come on - I can even sing the tune for you!!
This is discrimination! Let's call it MWD discrimination: mothers with daughters. :)
Happy birthday, Abigail.
oh i love that picture!! Happy Birthday Sweetie!!
It's from Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses! I can't even begin to count how many times I've heard that song since Christmas.
Happy Birthday Abby!
yes, Rebekah! Dirk and I, too, have heard it more times than we care to count.
Happy happy birthday princess Abby!!!
Did you really have a long-awaited daughter, only to have her repay your daily overindulgences by calling you "plain"?? You need some more dark chocolate. Go get some right now. Sqeeze the princess for us! Oh, and please don't tell my girls about that movie -- I have a hard enough life.
Oops, that's SQUEEZE. I was typing while Liam attempted to grab my fingers and bite them.
From the time she was tiny I would call her "Abracadabra...Gail", and now all I have to say is "Abraca.." and she says, "Gail". She is a Princess and a jewel and a delight.
